“Richard’s unique style of social photojournalism gives added drama and subtle detail to the mundane and traditional…”
Vassi Chamberlain, Senior Editor, Tatler
On looking at reportage wedding photographers in general, they all describe their approach and services as unique, bespoke and relaxed… When actually viewing their work you may find them quite similar.
Coming from an editorial and fine art background my approach has naturally been different, resulting in what I consider to be a more image–led and less predictable body of work.
The quality of my finished black and white prints are always commented on, and best viewed in person with my portfolio. These are achieved by shooting film, and then by hand printing in the darkroom, producing a much higher quality hand print.

“Richard offers a true reportage style which was essential to us for our wedding photos. Passionate, collaborative, creative and personable, he has an unobtrusive yet confident approach which ensured the essence of our special day was captured. We were delighted with our photographs ( especially the black and white prints from traditional film ) and would recommend Richard wholeheartedly to anyone who wants unique, natural, beautiful wedding photos”
